CALIBRATION, SERVICE & REPAIR

STANDRIDGE is known for high accuracy calibration, service and repair on all granite surface plates and granite inspection accessories. 

Surface plates can be calibrated and resurfaced on-site where feasible; Granite Inspection Accessories can be calibrated on-site and resurfaced at our facility if necessary.

Calibration in regular intervals is necessary, as the smallest degree of wear on your surface plate can affect its accuracy. Inaccuracies cannot be seen with the naked eye as explained in the picture of relative measurements shown lower on this page.

Don't take the chance of rejecting a good part because of a worn surface plate. Have us calibrate your plates regularly. STANDRIDGE offers complete calibration and relapping services on surface plates, master angles, master squares, straight edges, riser blocks, tri-squares, angle plates, V-blocks, parallels, and other accessory items. This process restores all brands of granite products back to specification and includes a STANDRIDGE "Calibration Certificate". We can rework to any grade, ½ lab if necessary.

Complete repair and modification capabilities are available including grinding, sawing, drilling, bonding and patching, threaded inserts, as well as the lapping of granite and ceramic surfaces.
